We have been blessed to train with so many people these past 18 years in Culpeper. It has been an honor to share the mats with all of you. Last night, we were able to celebrate a few people that have been with us “since the beginning.”
Justin Bettis had the honor of being promoted at Yamasaki Academy headquarters a few weeks ago. We wanted to celebrate his accomplishment here with friends and family at the gym. He is talented, dedicated, and we are proud of all his hard work. Congratulations on your brown belt!! Very well deserved.
Matt has been training since he was ten years old and has been like one of “our kids”. We have had the privilege of seeing him turn into not just a great martial artist, but an even better young man. It was amazing to watch him receive his purple belt as his loving family soaked in the moment. Congratulations Matt! We are so proud of you!
Alex has been training with us for the past couple years and has been doing great at competition. He is talented, dedicated, and always brings great energy to class. Congratulations on your blue belt! Very well deserved!
John trained judo with Dennis years ago and then returned and started BJJ. He has been attending the adult classes regularly, as well as, helping Dennis with the kids class. He is dedicated, hard working, and we are so proud of you! Congratulations on your blue belt!
