The Catamount Climb Half Marathon & 5K is on Saturday April 11, 2026. It includes the following events: 5K, Half Marathon, and Half Marathon (No Medal Option).

Wow! What a great day!

Thank you to all the runners, sponsors, volunteers and fans for an amazing race day!

Goooood morning!!

Race day reminders!

Packet pickup will be at the WCU Campus Rec Center starting at 6:30am.

Parking : please park and in any spot that has yellow or white parking lines.

The Campus Rec Center is open for restrooms, showers, bag drop and just a space to chill.

The half marathon starts at 8am and the 5k starts at 8:30am. The course closes at 12pm for both races.

We got a shipment of 600 DUDE Wipes for the half marathon and 5k and had to dump it onto someone 💪

We are nearing our max cap of 140 runner for the half marathon., which is capped because we only ordered 140 finisher medals.

So we have now opened up a new event - Half Marathon (No Medal). Runners will still be in the same half marathon event, but will not receive a medal. The registration is $10 cheaper, which equates to the cost of the medal.

We wanted to give this a try to see if runners would like this option, so let us know what you think!
