Courtney's Dance Artistry A full-service dance studio in Cullman offering MORE THAN JUST DANCE—we train, create, perform, believe, and achieve together.

At Courtney’s Dance Artistry, classes are designed to stimulate the enjoyment of dance while laying an important foundation for further training. As the dancer advances, the variety and intensity of the class work increases. Some dancers may choose to join CDA’s Elite Competition Team and compete their dances, which leads to the possibility of college scholarships and professional careers in dance; while others may participate in dance for the exercise and pure enjoyment of the art form; also eligible for advanced Elite class placement.

✨ COME TRY A CLASS FOR FREE AT CDA! ✨

Not sure which style is the right fit? Come try it first! 💙💚

Free trials are open to both current CDA students and new dancers. Each dancer gets ONE free trial per available class, so she can try more than one style before deciding what she wants to register for or add to her schedule.

Trials are offered only in classes with available space, and availability may change as classes fill.

💰 Monthly Tuition
$80 for one class monthly

* $35 for each additional class

📅 Free trials end October 1st.
📅 Registration closes October 1st.

Starting today, dancers who register will also have a late registration fee. Because CDA tuition is all-inclusive, a portion of each month’s tuition goes toward costumes and the additional items and experiences included throughout the dance year. The late registration fee covers the dancer’s September all-inclusive portion so their package stays caught up with dancers who enrolled at the beginning of the season.

Junior dancers must have approved prior dance experience or complete an evaluation before placement.

Some classes are already down to their last 1–2 spots, so now is a great time to try something new!

One of the sweetest parts of teaching dance is getting to watch kids grow up right in front of you. 💗

I’ve been teaching Whitlee since she was tiny, and now she’s in second grade and getting ready for her very first year on competition.

There are so many little milestones along the way—first classes, new shoes, new levels, new goals—and it means a lot to get to be part of them.

At CDA, we’re not just here for one class or one season. We get to grow right alongside our dancers. ✨

Some of the most important moments in dance class don’t look very exciting.

They look like this. 💙💚

Watching. Listening. Taking a correction. Trying again. Learning to notice the little details.

Yesterday we talked about how our classes are built with purpose. But even the best curriculum only works when dancers learn how to be students of their craft.

We want our dancers to understand why they’re doing something—not just memorize what comes next. Over time, they learn to take corrections, make adjustments on their own, and become more independent and confident dancers.

That’s where so much of the growth happens—between the steps.

At CDA, our lessons are built with purpose.

Behind every class is years of planning, researching, learning, adjusting, and building a curriculum that helps dancers grow safely and confidently. We don’t just walk into class and teach a dance — we are working on technique, strength, flexibility, musicality, coordination, performance skills, confidence, and so much more.

I work closely with our teachers so we are on the same page, using the same goals, and making sure our classes complement each other. What a dancer learns in ballet may support their jazz. What they build in conditioning may help their acro. What they practice in skills may show up in their performance quality on stage.

Over the years, I have watched this kind of structured training make a real difference. When dancers show up, work hard, and trust the process, they achieve goals they once thought were out of reach — and they do it with more confidence.

At CDA, we are not just teaching routines.
We are building strong, creative, confident, capable dancers. 💙💚
