The University of Alabama’s Center for Business and Economic Research recently updated its county-level economic data, giving us a new look at how Cullman County is doing.

In 2024, total personal income in Cullman County reached approximately $4.96 billion, an increase of nearly $280 million from the year before. Per-capita personal income also increased to $53,577, up about 5% from 2023.

Another measure, median household income, reached an estimated $64,722 in 2024.

Personal income includes more than just paychecks. It also includes business income, investment income and other sources received by Cullman County residents, making it one way to measure the overall income generated by people living here.

CBER makes this and other county-level economic data available publicly through The University of Alabama.
