Thank you and Goodbye!

2 years ago we set out to give Cullman something we thought it needed. After several months of lack of support, we have decided to close the doors. Please support local businesses or they will all slowly disappear.
This was a dream of mine for many years but I'm ready to get back to enjoying the hobby that I love. Thank you to everyone that has supported us and all the friends we've made. Our last day will be next Saturday 2/1/25.

I’ve debated and thought long and hard on whether or not to post this, however something must be done.

I first want to thank everyone who has supported us these past 2 1/2 almost 3 years we have been in business. We wouldn’t have made it this far without you guys. The RC world is growing and we LOVE that! I have always had the mindset the more people into RC the less likely we will have people into things they shouldn’t be doing. We understand that the economy has outright been horrible these past few years and it doesn’t help anything, however, when we do everything we can to help the community grow and make sacrifices for the business and we have gotten the treatment we have this past year it really hurts. I speak for both of us when I say this, think twice before ordering online. There hasn’t been a RC hobby shop in Cullman in over 10+ years. It is a need yet the people of Cullman want to order online or drive elsewhere and support those businesses. We will not survive if we do not have the community support. So please consider supporting us so we can support our family!

Let me share why we opened in the first place. It has been a dream of Freddy’s to run his own RC shop as he has already had his own off road track at one point, started one of the biggest off road races in the southeast, and just uses this hobby as his escape. On top of that when we had Noah we had no idea just how much that tough little guy would go through(pretty sure if you’ve been in the shop at some point you’ve seen the wild red head running around). I had to have something flexible where I could take off and drive to Birmingham for weekly doctors appointments and all the hospital stays I was able to stay with our baby. We saw a need for the community of Cullman and surrounding areas for an RC store front. The closet store in either direction north or south is right at 1-1.5 hrs one way. We wanted to see Cullman grow! We opened up and had great success for a bit but it just died off.

So with all this said please reconsider supporting small businesses that rely on their business to help support their family.
