Congratulations to my two outstanding open water scuba diver students. Paige and Justin Thurman both earned their open water scuba diver certification today!!!!!!! They were awesome students and I am truly thankful for them both as students and new friends.

Destiny, Dustin and my niece Audrey finished out 2022 by taking their first breath underwater and totally rocking their discover scuba class. My wife Heather and daughter Carmen joined in on Audrey's class to support her.... though she didn't need it.

Learning to dive has been a life changing event for me. Diving has taken my family places in the world that, without it we would not thought to ever go. I have met so many people that I would have never had the opportunity to know let alone consider some as family. Life is short, wake up the adventurous spirt within that normal day to day life has silenced. Our Discover Scuba class are held in the Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center indoor pool (nice warm water) and is only $25. I had an absolute blast in the pool today. I am so proud of everyone who participated in the Discover Scuba classes today! We had our issues, but everyone persevered. If you have ever thought about being able to scuba dive, let’s do it. Mark Twain once said “ Twenty years for now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do that by the ones you did do.”So, don’t be afraid to take the plunge!
