Cuchara Valley Recreation Program: Hikes, Bingo, Fun Runs and more! Over the years it has developed to encompass everyone, the young and the old.

The Cuchara Valley Recreation Program was created to get the kids out of their house socializing, hiking and learning about nature, and most importantly having fun. We offer hikes, weekly bingo, and an annual fun run. In the past five years we have also added educational opportunities with our Chautauqua program.

As art sells we fill the board with more art, so there is always something new to see. We will be here at the Cuchara Community Center until 4pm.

We are excited to kick off the 2025 Cuchara Art Show tonight at the Artist Talks and Demos! We are thrilled to have photographer Jason Barnes tell us about how he gets his amazing shots. We will also hear from other artists about their processes and mediums. Come join us!

Art Show weekend!! We have 49 artists ready to show your their work! Our great volunteers are hanging art now!

The event will be open to the public, starting Friday, August 1 at 7pm for our Artist Talks and Demos.

The show will be open for browsing/purchasing August 2 from 10am to 4pm and again on August 3 from 11am to 4pm.

As art sells we do have more to put out, so come by often!
