The Elks are hosting a free throw contest on November 26th for anyone 8-13 years old.

Cuba and Valley area youth basketball players…There’s still time to sign up for the NF basketball league hosted by the Canton YMCA. Paper forms were sent home with students. Extra forms are available for anyone who needs one. They can be returned to the schools, YMCA, or make arrangements. Unfortunately, checks will not be accepted this year. You can also register online at https://ops1.operations.daxko.com/Online/2198/ProgramsV2/Search.mvc?category_ids=TAG88 or by calling the Canton YMCA. YMCA members: $44, non YMCA members: $50. If your player(s) are on your district’s direct certification list via SNAP, TANF, or Medicaid, they will receive a 50% discount. Please contact [email protected] to verify and mark registration forms. DC discounts are not directly applied online, so you will need to call/email prior to registering for verification. Practices will begin after Thanksgiving.

What a day of some great basketball! Every game was a hard fought battle to the end. Thank you to all those who came out and supported all our teams/program and enjoyed some pizza. Also, a huge thanks to everyone who had a hand in making this season such an awesome one: coaches, parents, volunteers, fans, refs, and especially our young players. Congrats on a job well done everyone! That’s a wrap…until next year!

2nd place- Nelson 3/4th grade boys
3rd place- Irwin 3rd/4th grade boys

This Sunday, March 5th we will be holding our end of year pizza party and North Fulton 3rd/4th grade basketball tournament at the Cuba Elementary School. Pizza will be available for all NF K-4th grade participants from 1-6pm. K-2 players are encouraged to check out and cheer on the 3rd/4th grade teams.
1st game @ 1pm: Irwin vs Mason
2nd game @ 2pm: Nelson vs Leonard
3rd game @ 3pm: Martin vs winner of game 1
4th game (3rd place)
5th game (Championship) @ 5pm
Concession stand will also be open. No entry fee, but There will be a donation bucket for the league for new equipment, etc.

Great job to all the k-2nd grade teams this season! Good luck to all the 3rd/4th grade teams in the tournament! Thank you to all the coaches, players, and parents for making this season such a fun one and a success.

Reminder for coaches, 3rd/4th grade are the
only age groups that can fast break. Fast break
for 3rd and 4th grade is only in the 2nd half.
PreK-2nd cannot.
