The Preserve at Eisenhower Golf Course finished a two-year renovation in April 2021. The original Ed Adult design which opened in 1969 was redesigned by golf course architect, Andrew Green, starting in 2018. The redesign was done in tandem with the Anne Arundel County Bureau of Watershed Protection and Restoration. The redesign includes; new larger greens, re-grassing of all surfaces, removal of sand bunkers and replaced with hummocks, 5 sets of tees, lengthening to 7100 yards, new driving with state of the art synthetic hitting surface, new irrigation system and extensive drainage work. We're a facility and page that embodies Golf For Everyone. We believe in inclusion, positivity and foster a culture where all are welcome. If you haven't met Joelle Johnson working in the golf shop or practicing at the range, here are some fun facts about her golf background. As a freshman at Bucknell Joelle was named Women's Patriot League Rookie of Year and Player of the Week twice in the Fall.

This Summer she was a Quarterfinalist in the Maryland State Golf Association Women's Amateur. After shooting 74 in the stroke play qualifying she won her first match 1up and was ultimately defeated after a grueling 22 hole match in the quarterfinals. It was a valiant effort while having the support of her caddy and fellow employee Ben Smigal.

Joelle is off to school next week to start here Sophomore year and looks forward to competing again this Fall and Spring. See her player information and stats to follow her progress in the future. Good luck Joelle!
