The Crown Point Bulldogs 14U Red got together for a rare Fall tournament, and absolutely dominated the field. Through hours and hours of pouring rain, these DOGS were relentless, going 4-0-1 to win the Indiana USSSA Baseball Fall Classic at Legacy Fields, Crown Point, Indiana.
This was our first opportunity to showcase our 14U team (while missing a BIG bat and catcher in Kenny S**o). We STILL outscored opponents 51-23.
Played the #2 team overall in Illinois (Hit Dogs) - tied them and then beat them on Sunday to go to the Championship. Got to play the Indiana Dawgs, against a bunch of long time friends and players that mean a whole lot to us..
We took the ring, got a Pocket Radar, and an awesome two-team photo at the end. All class. Always a blast.

Gonna put in a TON of work this off season. This team is going to be even MORE fierce come Spring. We can't wait!!

In the final tournament of the season, the Crown Point Bulldogs Red 13U - Hutton returned to Sandusky, OH where they won in 2022, at the beautiful Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center. The power, teamwork, discipline, and fireworks were on full display as the DOGS went 6-0, outscored opponents 61-4, had a semi-final walk-off in the 9th, a team BA of .392, struck out 56 of 138 batters faced, and a team ERA of 0.40 for the tournament.
This was the culmination of so much hard work, a 46-11-3 season record, a group of coaches and young men who love each other dearly, have played together since they were 7-8 yrs old (all but 2), and have developed into the most versatile and deepest of teams I've seen.

To my boy and the 10 other boys I consider my own - I love you more than you'll ever know.
To our coaches - your dedication, time, love and commitment to this family is unparalleled and vital to our continued success. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for another year of some of the most fulfilling times of my life.

Crown Point Bulldogs 13U Red kept the "Brawl 4 the Bling" tournament victory home in CP, going 4-1 on the weekend.
In 10 tournaments this season so far, the Bulldogs have amassed 5 championship wins and 2 Finalist finishes, improving their record to 32-9-3!
We have 3 more to go! The Lakeville BPA World Series, the Lake Michigan Championship, and the Great Lakes Classic in Sandusky, OH to finish the season out.
These boys keep getting better, and are so much fun to watch!

Big shout out to #8! A boy we discovered years ago at a tryout on THIS VERY FIELD. Quiet, sweet, incredibly passionate, well mannered and respectful, while wielding the deadliest defensive weapons I've ever seen out of a middle infielder.
Well, his effort, phenomenal reflexes and lightning fast hands have rewarded him with his first ever bomb to straight away center. A no-doubter, this ball was launched into the night sky.

I have to take a moment to brag on an OG player, #24, who just launched his first ever home run. He's been with me from the beginning on this team. Years of effort, dedication, shows up to every practice, fights through disappointments and quietly revels in his successes with grace and class.
This boy, always one of the smallest players on a high level team, has the biggest heart and just delivered one of the happiest and proudest moments of my career. I know how bad he wanted one, and how bad the team (his 10 brothers) wanted one for him too.

So proud of you Levi Kvachkoff. You're getting better every day my boy. ❤️💪👊👍💥

The Crown Point Bulldogs 13U Red team crossed the border into Illinois to take the Louisville Slugger "Flashin' the Leather" Global State Championship and a Wilson A2000 glove (for each player) back to Indiana! Great tournament, with fantastic coaches and sportsmanship across the board.

The Dogs were spectacular, losing their first and then going 4-0 - dominating on both sides of the plate. With unparalleled pitching and a relentless offensive barrage, the Dogs were a suffocating force.

Improving their record to 26-5-3, these boys locked up their 3rd tournament victory in a row, winning 4 of their last 6, with 2 Finalist finishes.

The Bulldogs will take this momentum to the CP World Series this weekend - quite possibly their biggest test yet. An extremely robust and deep lineup of teams awaits. Come out and support the home team!!

Crown Point Bulldogs take another Championship in Wheeling, IL, at the GameDay Turf War tournament, improving their dominating season record to 22-4-3! The Dogs went 4-0 on a beautiful Father's Day weekend, with a team batting avg. of .371, striking out just 9 times in 111 plate appearances and outscoring opponents 37 to 11. The team's pitchers struck out 35 of 104 batters faced, with 20 of those looking.
These Bulldogs are TOUGH to beat!!
