Munster Hockey is proud to recognize alumni Degard and Cook for their commitment to giving back through Department Fire Buddies. While their playing days may be over, they continue to represent the values that define our program: leadership, teamwork, service, and community.
Their dedication to helping children and families facing difficult challenges is a reminder that hockey is about more than what happens on the ice. It is about developing young men and women who make a positive impact wherever life takes them.
Thank you, Degard and Cook, for continuing to make the Munster Hockey family proud and for demonstrating what it truly means to be a Mustang.

✨Fun Facts about our 2025-2026 Munster Mustangs✨

🏆2026 Roper Cup Champions!

The Roper Cup is the regional tournament that includes Culver, Lake Central, Crown Point and Bishop Noll Hockey teams - Munster Wins the Roper Cup!

🏆The Only Team in the Region Invited to Play in the 4A State Championship!

Indiana High School Hockey includes 4 levels of play for the State Championship title - 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A - which is the most elite level - Munster was the only 4A team in the region.

🏆The Only JV Team in the Region Invited to Play at the Varsity Championship Level!

While there is a State Tournament for JV teams, Munster's JV team was ranked higher than any other JV team in the region and was placed in the 1A State Tournament rather than the JV tournament.

🏆The Mustangs have 5 players who made Team Indiana - the most than any other team in the region!

Team Indiana is a team made up of a select group of players throughout the state chosen to represent Indiana in additional hockey tournaments throughout the country.
