Last opportunity to witness the varsity and junior varsity Tigers in action this week. Varsity will face Medora at Shawe Memorial tomorrow night at 6:30. Throughout the Hilltoppers league season, Crothersville has demonstrated exceptional resilience and determination, maintaining an undefeated record while averaging 87 points per game and limiting opponents to 41 points per game. Junior varsity will compete against Columbus Christian on Tuesday night at Shawe, a rematch of their earlier summer season game, which was a closely contested match. This will be the final chance to see the Tigers in action before November.

We are excited to welcome John Paul “JP” Siltz to the Crothersville community!

JP is an outstanding young man who excels both in the classroom and on the basketball court. He carries an impressive 4.0 GPA, loves school, and is committed to being the best student he can be every day. Beyond academics, JP enjoys spending quality time with his family and represents the values that make a community proud.

On the court, JP has established himself as one of the top young players in the region. As a highly-rated member of the Class of 2029, he continues to earn recognition for his hard work, dedication, and talent in basketball.

We are thrilled to have JP and his family become part of the Crothersville family and can’t wait to see all the great things he will accomplish in the classroom, on the court, and throughout our community.

We’re extremely excited and humbled by the schedule we have this season! It’s one of the toughest 1A schedules in the state, and it gives our young Tigers a great chance to keep learning, growing, and building toward bringing home that state trophy one day.

In game two, we’ll take on the defending state champions, and in the first game of the holiday tournament, we’ll face the defending state runner-up. Game two of that tournament features an ESPN Top 100 recruit, giving our team another incredible challenge and experience.

We also made a strong effort to schedule Seymour, but while that didn’t work out, Scottsburg was awesome enough to step up and make a game happen with us this season.

We can’t wait to see our fans in the stands and to watch this group continue to grow over the next few years.

🏀🐯 7th Grade Tigers Dominate the Court! 🐯🏀

The Crothersville 7th Grade Tigers have officially been crowned MYT Fall League Champions! 💪🔥

With commanding league dominance, these boys went head-to-head with some of the largest schools in the league and proved that grit, teamwork, and Tiger pride can overcome anyone in their path. Over just 6 games, they racked up 200+ total points, leaving no doubt who runs the floor.

Proud is an understatement—these young men are setting the tone for the future of Crothersville basketball! 🏆🐅

🏀 Crothersville 7th Grade Boys Basketball Preseason Tip-Off! 🏀

What a way to start the season! The Tigers came out strong in their first preseason action with two huge wins:

🔥 Defeated 4A powerhouse Franklin Community by an impressive 28 points
🔥 Followed it up with another dominant victory, topping the Hauser Jets by 25 points

The boys are already showing great chemistry, energy, and grit. A promising start as they build toward an exciting season ahead — keep it rolling, Tigers! 🐅💪

What an incredible weekend of representation for the Town of Crothersville! First, Hudson Jones, class of 2031, is set to shine as an Indiana all-star, helping his team take on a strong Kentucky team and bring home the bragging rights for Indiana! On the girls' side, the legendary Coach John Riley is leading the rising 6th grade girls' team to victory, aiming to claim the championship title against Team Kentucky. Finally, our Varsity Coach Bryant Layman is at the helm of the rising 9th grade team, featuring a talented roster of future all-stars, as they take on a powerhouse Kentucky team and strive for championship glory!
