Well the winter bite is over with at Santee. Water is now into the 60's and climbing. It's time to go fish 5 ft of water. This week the last day I had on the water in the middle of the lake I had 64° water temperature catching fish in 15 ft of water.

Here's some photos of this past week. I morning had over 600 lbs in 3 1/2 hours
The waters going to warm up in a few weeks and this winter bite will change. They finish will start their migration runs and then we'll head start chasing them. So get your trips booked this looks like it's going to be an extremely good year! 8033676275

Here is from 2 days ago. We caught over 600 lb of fish in 2 1/2 hours.

We threw back 13 fish from 20 to 35 lb each weighed them before we threw them back

Today we only kept 2 fish. CPR the rest. 3 doubles, 1 triple on, and thru back a lot of fish. To get your trip book call or text 803-367-6275 while it's winter bite is on wide open. Here in probably 2 weeks to 3 weeks these fish are going to start running up the lake and we'll have to change tactics.
