The theme of the match is hard. In the spirit of the match you are required to use and navigate all props and obstacles. This is not a gaming match and efforts to do so may incur procedural penalties at RO discretion.
Coaching and helping: The RO staff will do their best to keep you out of trouble and avoid running past a target. I encourage you to verbally or physically help your squad mates during the course of fire. I draw the line at pulling the trigger for them.
1. Match will be run as a COLD RANGE.
1.1 COLD RANGE (definition): Participants fi****ms will remain unloaded at the match site except under the direction of a match official. Ensure all fi****ms to be used are unloaded prior to entering the range complex! Having a loaded firearm without authorization from the RO will result in a match DQ.
2. Fi****ms may be required to be abandoned during the course of fire. While it is preferred, fi****ms are not required to be unloaded or on safe unless specified by the written stage brief.
2.1 Fi****ms may be required to be re-holstered or re-slung DURING the course of fire. You will ONLY re-holster or re-sling an empty gun. Failure to do right will result in a stage DQ or a match DQ for sweeping.
2.3 Any accidental discharge as a result of fi****ms abandonment or pickup will result in a match DQ.
2.4 An RO or competitor designated by the RO may safely clear fi****ms behind the competitor during the course of fire. Any accidental discharge while clearing the firearm will result in a match DQ for whomever caused the bang.
2.5 Unless under the control of an RO rifles & shotguns must be carried or slung with the muzzle up or down, with action open or chamber flag inserted. Detachable magazines must be removed.
2.6 On all stages (unless otherwise stated in the WSB) the rifle ready condition is empty. I don’t care what you do with your bolt and safety.
2.7 Handguns must be bagged or remain in holster with magazine removed, only to be handled in a safe area, pointed inside your vehicle or under the direction of a RO.
2.8 On all stages, the handgun Ready Condition is Magazine inserted, empty chamber.
2.9 On all stages you will finish with empty pistol, holstered. There will be NO pistol dump buckets in this match.

2.11 Ear protection is mandatory for participants, spectators & range personnel while on or near a course of fire.
2.12 Reshoots will not be granted for loss of eye or hearing protection during the course of fire unless safety equipment is broken. Safely pick it up, put it back on and get back in the game.

3.4 A participant shall be disqualified from the Match for dropping a loaded firearm. Dropping an unloaded firearm is not a safety issue, pick it up and move on. (Lets not get into the Dropping Vs. Setting down disagreement use common sense)
3.5 A participant shall be disqualified for allowing the muzzle of his/her loaded firearm to sweep themselves, a person or non prop vehicle.
3.5.1 A participant shall be YELLED at for getting close to an unsafe muzzle direction. Lack of verbal warning before “STOP” does not relieve shooter of the sole responsibility for their actions.
3.6 A participant shall be disqualified for a discharge while reloading during the course of fire
3.7 A participant shall be disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct.
3.7.1 Cheating
3.7.2 Intentionally altering targets prior to them being scored to gain an advantage or to avoid a penalty

3.7.4 Consuming or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the match site while shooting is taking place.
3.7.5 This is not an all inclusive list of unsportsmanlike conduct. (Use common sense this is a community and a game lets all keep that in mind)
3.7.6 Failing to help reset and/or tape targets. (One warning will be issued by the RO on the stage.)
3.8 All disqualifications will be issued by an RO the RM or MD.
4. Sportsmanship & Conduct

5.2 Slugs may be prohibited on some targets.

7. Holsters and other Equipment – All classes
7.1 The holster material must completely cover and protect the handgun’s trigger.
8. Scoring
8.1 Scoring on each stage will be time plus penalties. Each stage will be worth 100 points; competitor with lowest time earns 100 points, everyone else in that division is factored from that time. A maximum time allowed to shoot any stage will be 300 seconds.
8.1.2 Any paper target designated as a “shoot” target requires two (2) hits inside the target scoring perforations to neutralize. (Slug targets MAY be exempted from this rule and only require one (1) hit inside a designated scoring perforation.)
8.1.3 A paper target engaged by firing at least one round at it, but with no hits, is a Failure To Neutralize. Such a target will receive a minimum of a 20 second penalty for the miss/misses.
8.1.4 Paper targets which have less than the required number of hits will receive a 10 second penalty for each hit less than that required number.
8.1.5 A paper or steel target which is not engaged by firing at least one round at it will receive a minimum of a 10 second penalty for not making the required hit(s) on the target and 10 seconds, per target, for a Failure To Engage (FTE) for a total minimum penalty of 30 seconds per target added to time.
8.1.6 Paper targets used in the match may be IPSC (old style), the new IPSC “Classic”, USPSA, IDPA targets, VTAC, pizza boxes, political yard signs or any other similar target approved by the Match Director.
8.1.7 Non-Paper Targets
8.1.8 Knock down style targets (i.e. poppers, plates, flashers or other steel) must fall to score. A miss on a knock down style target will incur a 10 second penalty. Targets are the same for everyone, you will NOT be granted a reshoot due to lack of calibration. The RO may issue a verbal “hall pass” if he witnesses multiple hits that fail to activate the knock-down target.
8.1.9 Frangible targets must break to score. (One BB hole is a break.)
8.1.10 The RO or a designated spotter may call hits on long range targets and static pistol steel.
8.2 Fault lines may be hard or soft. Soft fault lines may include caution tape, rope or ground paint
8.2.1 Hard fault lines will incur a 10 second faulting penalty for each shot taken while over the line. Steel may be reshot from within the fault line.
8.2.3 Soft fault lines are only there to keep you in a general shooting area. Penalties will only be issued for gross disregard or ignoring the RO warnings.
9. Failure to complete the stage within the maximum time, the shooter will be stopped by the RO and assessed a stage time equal to the Maximum time plus all applicable penalties.
9.1 Targets not engaged in maximum time will incur FTE penalties in addition to all other applicable penalties.
9.2 Higher penalties may be imposed for designated high value targets.
2-Man team division rules
• all ammo and magazines must come from partner
Partners will shoot each stage together and should remain within arms length for the entire stage.
Partners will consecutively alternate shooting for the entire match. You only decide one time who shoots what and that is the first gun on the first stage. After that you alternate shooting regardless of the gun.
For the entire match you will transition from shooter to shooter by tagging after every gun transition.
Tagging should happen immediately AFTER holstering, slinging or abandoning a firearm.
Tagging is hand to hand contact.
Partners must be touching for the first and last shot of each stage. No touch for time out.
Both partners must navigate all obstacles.
All tasks must be accomplished by the shooter. Things like carrying, dragging, pushing, pulling, Karate chopping, etc.
Both partners will start with empty pistol holstered unless otherwise stated by the written stage brief.
If a long gun is slung at start both partners will start with similar guns slung.
If a long gun is in hand or staged at start a second similar gun is not allowed.
Reminder: This is a helping match but it must be organic. Even as a team you may not have a stage plan to help each other outside of coaching.
