“Trail Mix” – The Westchester-Fairfield Trail Series. We love trail running and hope you do too! To promote trail running and races the Leatherman Harriers and two other local race organizations have come up with a new trail race series in the Westchester and Fairfield county area. The races are, in order:
• Leatherman’s Loop 10k – April
• A Mild Sprain 4.25M – June
• Where The Pavement Ends 4.25
M – September
• Sarah Bishop Bushwhack 10k – September
• Paine to Pain trail half marathon - October
• Run The Farm 5M – October
• Raven Rocks Run 10k – November
We realize not everyone can make all six race dates due to conflicts, life, etc. We have made it so runners only have to run in four of the six trail races to compete in the series — see FAQ for details http://thetrailmix.org/faq/. An added incentive: every runner who completes the Trail Mix Series (at least 4 of the 7 races run) will be eligible for automatic selection in the next years Leathermans Loop Lottery.
