As racing season approaches here in Wisconsin, the GT1 has been on hold as I have been getting my late Model prepared to race at Madison International Speedway.
I am happy to report that after 18 months, I am finally completely healed with no disability.
I have a couple of good employment prospects that are good.
I get one of the two nailed down, then I can move forward.
I am glad, because I was thinking about selling the GT1.
So "Edna" has been hibernating as I have recovered, and we have a solution for the body issue.
I will be trading all my Protofab/Weaver body panels for the previous style body.
This should be done sometime in April of this year.
I hope your year has started well.
Keep an eye on the short track adventures at Dillinder Racing or my personal account on Facebook.
Drive fast, have fun, be safe.

I know it has been awhile since I posted anything.
The GT1 project is on hold for a little while yet as I finish my recovery from the second surgery on my left foot.
I would like to wish all a very Happy and Safe Holiday Season!

Today is the first day you can get tickets!

My apologies for not posting for awhile.
I am still on a no weight bearing restriction for my left foot.
I had surgery back on September 22nd.
So obviously, everything has been on hold until I can get back on both feet.

I know it has been awhile.
I just had surgery yesterday to repair the non union in my 5th metatarsal bone in my left foot yesterday.
Five Star does have the body manufactured, so just waiting on me to get more mobile.
I know some may be wondering why a "stock car" body.
It is a temporary solution for now.
For me to be able to race in Vintage, I need more seat time.
This will be done competing in Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs.
When I get enough seat time to drive my own car in Group 10, I will be striping it completely down for a full Gold Medallion level restoration.

Got an email from Five Star yesterday.
Two more pieces to be made and the new body will be ready for pick up.
