After 37 wonderful years, the time has come for us to share some big news—Charlie and Colleen De Smidt have sold De Smidt’s Golf Course.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Over the years, you’ve trusted us to be part of your lives—hosting your date nights, family gatherings, celebrations, and countless evenings out with friends. We couldn’t be more grateful for the memories we’ve created together.
And somewhere along the way, something even more special happened—you became part of our lives, too. Many of you have known us for decades. You’ve watched our kids—and even our grandkids—grow up, just as we’ve watched your families grow and change. That’s something we will always carry with us.
Now, it’s our turn to join you on the other side of the bar as we welcome the new owners…..Jim & April Schrubbe and Dave Boesch & Brittany Boehnlein. We’ve spent many hours with them over the past year and are excited for you to get to know them as well. We’re confident they will carry on the spirit of De Smidt’s.
Thank you—for your loyalty, your laughter, your stories, and your friendship over all these years. De Smidt’s has never just been a business. It’s been a gathering place, a home, and a community because of you.

On Thursday, April 30th, we will not be able to accept Credit/Debit cards after 3:00. The BAR will be CLOSING at 6:00.

De Smidt’s will OPEN again on Friday, May 1st under NEW OWNERSHIP!
