Today I want to talk about Wild Yam cream. 🤩
I believe it’s beneficial to talk about products that most people don’t know about that could truly help them in their everyday lives. Let’s start from the beginning.
15 years ago I began to have issues with my menstrual cycle and would have cramps so bad I would be bedridden and puking. My periods would last 3-4 weeks. Of course, back then the only option my OBGYN recommended was birth control. Ok, I was young and it seemed like an option to help me get through and see if it would help the pain so I started on one. A year of that and no changes. Switch birth controls to try again. Nope. Now my pain is worse. From birth control to birth control, nothing helped.
I was diagnosed a few years later with endometriosis and adenomyosis. I was told my chances of conception were very little and when that time came, I would most likely need intervention to conceive a child. 2 weeks after my nephew passed away, I found out I was pregnant and it truly was a miracle. I thank God for that sunshine during an awful storm and I know He had that plan for me amidst a horrible time in my family’s life. After having Mack, my periods were 20x worse. I ended up having an endometrial biopsy that was by far the worst pain I’ve ever felton my entire life. Traumatizing. Excruciating. My last period lasted for 4 months straight. 😬 I saw a specialist and had a laparoscopy that showed I had holes in my uterus and had to have a hysterectomy. 😬 That I did. And it was a hard decision as me and my husband tried for many years to have a baby of our own.
About 6 months ago, the abdominal pain and breast soreness, along with hair loss and acne galore, were horrible and I KNEW I needed to find a way to feel better. I did research and found a natural alternative to medications or estrogen pills. This cream has cleared every symptom I’ve ever had from hormonal levels and I will use it until the day I die. Had I gone the natural route 15 years ago, who knows?! But I’m feeling the best I have in years and after only 2 weeks after using this product I noticed changes.
I was made a fool by the last OBGYN I saw and told this cream is no different than putting me on an estrogen pill. WHAT?! 😂 THIS IS WHY WE NEED TO ADVOCATE FOR OUR OWN BODIES! The doctor didn’t even do a blood test to check my estrogen levels and wanted to throw me on a pill. No way. I left that appt with him feeling embarrassed at the very least.
This cream is a hormone balancer so whatever levels aren’t where they should be, this cream brings them back to your bodies normal level. And I’m living proof.
If I have one thing to say, it’s that our bodies are OUR bodies and we need to speak up when it comes to taking care of our health. Don’t let a doctor fool you into believing anything other than what you know is right for you. If you have a daughter or friend struggling with their menstrual cycle, please reach out or do research before throwing them on a pill they most definitely might not need.
