Nottoway Cougars bringing home some much deserved and earned hardware from today's tournament at Windsor High School. Braedyn Gilormini went 5-0 today for the gold medal and both Colton Lewis and Elliot Waite go 4-1 for the silver. Also Waite won the trophy for the quickest pin of today which was 5 secs.

Nottoway Wrestling Team is on a roll so far this year. So far we have competed in a team tournament and our first district meet of the season. We are winning majority of our matches by pins which is really impressive, but it is hard to get the overall team win due to the fact we only have 6 out of 14 weight classes filled. Shout out to Coach Anthony Munir, he is the guru on the mat with these guys and gives them the tools needed to be so successful. I can only imagine what a problem we would be if we had a full roster. More updates to come after we travel to Windsor High School on Saturday to compete and sharpen our skills on the mat.
