Sorry everyone, it’s been a busy start to the Fall season and I forgot to post this last Friday afternoon. So, six days late but here it is. Our apologies.

Last Friday was our Queen of Hearts drawing and Card #33 was chosen by Kim S. which was the 5♣️ and a $10 winner.

We are almost 12 hours from our End of Season Picnic and we have exciting news!
One of our very gracious 16U families donated two tickets to a Bear’s game this upcoming season to CFA. But no ordinary Bear’s game. The tickets are for Bears VS Packers 12/25 game!

We will start selling raffle tickets at the picnic for the drawing, which will be held at Half Time of the Bear’s 12/06 game.

Last Saturday our 18U team played in the SSSL Championship game. The game was a phenomenal offensive battle, but unfortunately our girls came up one run short.
Needless to say though, it was an absolute pleasure watching it. The back and forth leads, the heat with girls from both teams willing themselves to push forward, and just the fantastic offensive output made this game one of my favorites I have ever watched.
Ladies, you may not have won the Championship but make no mistake about it. You are Champions! Your will, your fight, and your never quit attitude was on full display. And don’t ever forget this! Your victories will never define you, but how you handle your defeats will. It will define your character, and it will shape your lives as you all become young women.
Congratulations to all of you on your achievement. And a special congratulations to the following coaches. Dom, Will, Bill, & Hannah.
Thank you all so much for carrying this torch that I could no longer carry. You four did a fantastic job! And I couldn’t be more proud to call you Crestwood Fastpitch, as well as colleagues, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Our Crestwood 18U won their game tonight. They move on to the Championship Game tomorrow at 1:00 at Commisioners Park. Congratulations to the coaching staff and especially the girls! Great game ladies!
Tomorrow, go get ‘em. Play as a family, with love for one another. And leave everything out on the field.
