Lifeguard Certification Classes will take place on February 25-27 at Matteson Community Center. The class offers certifications in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED Essentials, and Preventing Disease Transmission. The cost of the program is $190. Swim Clinic is a great opportunity for new swimmers to experience what it's like to swim in a group, similar to a swim team. In this clinic, swimmers will focus on stroke mechanics and technique, learning basic drills, and skills appropriate for their age and level. They will also have the chance to meet coaches, make new friends, and have fun!

Maurine, “Mighty Mo” as her teammates call her, competed and broke the record for her age group (women’s 100-104) 50 free. It is amazing that she broke the record, but what's even more impressive is the age group she swam in tops out at 104 years old, which means she has the potential to dominate this event for 3 more years till she ages up!

Price: $75 LOWEST PRICES AROUND (Discount Available for CELTS Employees)
Minimum Age: 15 years old by the end of the course
1st Day Swim Ability test must be passed to attend the course:
The Swim ability consists of a 300-yard continuous swim (breaststroke or freestyle); 2-minute tread-legs only, and a 20-yard swim retrieval of a 10lb object from 5' depth in 1 minute 40 seconds.
