Its been a long minute sense our last post, sorry about that. Figure we should come out strong with this custom M81 PBR. Hard to beat it. 4 mags ready to go with room for smaller GPs, and back face molle for danglers. We'll have a few more available next week if you need any last minute gifts.

This was possibly one of the coolest projects that was commissioned in recent memory.

Units often throw a party for outgoing and incoming personnel, and token gifts are kinda a thing. This 60L duffle tote is a great example of an awesome fairwell gift. Made from a body bag, new not used, this tote will be a lifelong gift that is better than a plaque to hang on the wall.

The idea for the body bag was funnily enough suggested by the unit Chaplin. Thst checks outs tbh.

We had a great time out at 's AK Masters. drove out early to shoot the RO match.

We feel it's important to show that not only do we make gear, but we here at HCO are shooters.

Ended up running the HCO AK104. It's a 100% mutt build that runs.

Parts list :
- MMS Rail, Gas tube, Magwell, muzzle brake, gas block, m4 tube adapter
- KOP Mount
- micro dot
- hand stop and mlok panels
- HCO PKM Mk1 grip

Ended up (with corrected scores) 2nd in the staff match. And about 14th or 15th overall if they had combined matches. Not to shabby. I'm looking forward to some upcoming matches with the 104.

Now, back to work.

While not a 1 to 1 copy, we did very minor modern tweaks. Our A-Model SF Pack definitely fits the bill. The black pack goes especially hard.

Can't have an early GWOT kit item without an early GWOT soundtrack. It was this or let the bodies hit the floor. You're welcome.

Often, a shotgun is touted as good beginner's options. But, we think it is more of a tool that, when mastered, means more. Having gear that helps make it eaiser.

Her name is ALICE.

We love doing Ruck mods here at HCO. Here is a recent one we completed.

- Buckles on 3 external pockets.
- Buckles on main straps.
- 3 columns by 6 rows of MOLLE on each side.
- New HCO pattern ruck top flap. It features our mesh inner and hardsewn 8" x 10" x 3" Claymore pouch with main strap tunnels.

The entire ruck was dismantled, updated, and re-sewn. We are adding a ruck mod service page in 2025. Keep an eye out for that.

Also, fun fact. The SADF 2L canteens fit the ALICE ruck pockets on this specific ruck. Mileage may vary.

We finally got the chance to do more of our classic, Chicom mods. DNC Parka mods and RAID Mods are fun. But reworking chicom is what we love most of all.

We can thank for this particular setup style. The rig started out as a T63 7 Pocket SKS rig. It now is a spilt front, 8 mag rig. Perfect for a stow and go rig.

We used a tube to make it happen. A mix of new and old. Gotta love it.

We had some fun at . We did some surprise awards for our contribution. And noticing wasn't a sponsor, we sent an email (tbh we thought it was a super long shot) asking if they'd like to partner with us. They knocked it out of the park but not just sending 1 item per can. But ENTIRE Retro sets.

We did 8 cans.

8 unique rig / bag sets made from upcycled USGI duffle bags.
- 4 of our new PDW rigs
- 2 of our PBR rigs
- 2 of our Claymore Bags
- each winner also received a Sling, which is made from the duffle bag shoulder pads

supplied 8 complete Retro carbine sets. The B5 Systems Retro is definitely worth a look. We liked it so much that we decked out our shop 635 in an extra green set ( Pic 5 )
