We will officially begin accepting deer September 20th! There are a few changes this season so please forgive me for this long post 🤣 I will break it down in sections but please take the time to read over it especially for the new things!
PRICING
Unfortunately, with the continued increase in the cost of supplies, ingredients, utilities, and other boring things you probably don't care to read about, we have had to make a few small adjustments to our pricing this season. We have worked really hard to keep our prices affordable while continuing to provide the same quality processing you've come to expect from us but this is your yearly reminder that there is only two of us. Please be patience with us 🥺
NEW FREEZER STORAGE POLICY
Freezer space gets very valuable during deer season! Especially because you guys continue to show up every year and we are truly blessed for that! But since we are a small business, when customers don’t show up or communicate with us, we have to turn other customers away due to freezer space.
After 72 hours, a $5/day freezer storage fee will apply. We completely understand that things come up! If you're unable to make it within that timeframe, please reach out to us so arrangements can be made. All we are asking for is communication. If some other arrangements are made prior to the 72 hours, then this will not apply to you! We hope you understand.
VENISON VAULT GIVE BACK PROGRAM

Last year, we soft launched this program by placing the option to donate on your order sheets for you to fill out if you wish. This year we really want to hone in and use deer season as an opportunity to give back to those families around us that could use a little help. I will post more information on this in the future!
See the picture below for an incentive of donating to the cause! If you know us (especially Allie), you know that we love a good challenge and competition. With that being said the hunter who donates the MOST ground venison this season will receive $20 OFF one basic processing fee next season!
Help us fill some freezers and put locally harvested meat on the tables of families who could really use it.

NEW REFERRAL PROGRAM
Love The Venison Vault? (We hope you do, lol) send your hunting buddies our way!
When a new customer brings us a deer, have them tell us who referred them. Every referral you make earns you one entry into a drawing at the end of the season for a Venison Vault hat or shirt!
*but wait… there's more*
The person with the MOST referrals this season will also receive $20 OFF one basic processing fee next season! There is no limit to the number of referral or drawing entries you can earn.

We truly hate having to turn anyone away, but we also know our limits. We’d rather say “we’re full” than take on more than we can handle and not give your deer the time and care it deserves. It really hurts our heart to have to do this, especially when its someone who is a repeat customer.
We stand by a simple rule that we even posted back when we first started. We will not give back to you anything we wouldn’t feed our own family. Because of that, we reserve the right to stop accepting deer when we’ve reached capacity or if the circumstances leading up to the harvest are questionable (out in the heat too long, improperly handled prior to arriving here, etc.) to dispose of any meat or portions that are questionable or unsafe. If you want a processor that gives you every single piece regardless of the gut shot/coloring/smell/time it sat out in 76 degrees, then unfortunately we are not the one for you! And that's okay, we strive to look out for you guys as our own.
We cant say enough how much we appreciate everyone who chooses our small family business, recommends us to friends, shares our posts, and comes back season after season. We notice and it means more than you know.
We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting some new ones, giving back to our community, and having another great deer season at The Venison Vault!
