As we wrap up our season and gear up for tryouts, it’s time to give a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to our Crusader coaches.
Coaching youth sports is one of the most *thankless yet most rewarding* jobs out there. These coaches volunteer their time, giving up weekends, evenings, and time with their own families to pour into your kids—teaching them the game, building their confidence, challenging them to grow, and supporting them through wins, losses, and everything in between.
They show up early and stay late. They take your players on the field, but they also guide them through tough days and celebrate the small victories that often go unnoticed outside the dugout.
They hear every cheer, every complaint, and every bit of advice from the sidelines, often balancing high expectations from parents while staying focused on what matters most—helping our players grow, learn, and develop, both as athletes and as people. It isn’t always easy, but they continue to show up with energy and passion, even when it’s hard.
As we move into the next season and prepare for tryouts, please remember these coaches are not doing this for recognition, for trophies, or for their own gain. They do it because they love the game, they love your kids, and they believe in the value of what sports can teach: *hard work, teamwork, commitment, and resilience.*
To the parents: If you have a moment, take the time to thank your child’s coach. A simple thank you, a quick text of appreciation, or a kind word at the field goes further than you know. Our organization would be *nothing* without these coaches who give so much of themselves to build something bigger for your kids.
To our coaches: We see you, we appreciate you, and we are grateful for everything you do to make Crusader Baseball more than just baseball. Thank you for believing in our players and in the mission of this organization. You are the heart of it all.
Here’s to finishing this season strong, taking the lessons learned into the next, and continuing to build a program where players *and* families grow together.
