GDCO… picture day is a go, but we have to change the location! We will hold pictures today at Lewis University in the theater where you had dress rehearsal.

The schedule will remain the same! Individual pictures will start at 2 PM, group pictures begin at 4:30. One correction to the schedule - All 5/6  year-old students will arrive at 6 PM. All other ages, please follow the schedule.

It is best to get to the theater 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled group picture time. We try very hard to uphold the posted schedule and can only hold and wait for so long before we must move on.

Thank you very much parents for this pivot. We will see you soon.

GDCO Parents... PICTURE DAY was originally scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9th.

Unfortunately, our Photography Company cancelled. Initially I sent an email/text explaining that we would have to cancel... but look at God!

We now have a re-scheduled PICTURE DAY for this Friday, June 12th! Thank you to Wayne McNair for coming to GDCO's rescue!

GDCO Parents, same schedule with one exception. ALL 5/6 year old students will have 6:00 as the scheduled time for photos.

GDCO… this year’s recital is truly something special.

The inspiration came from a group of our dancers who encouraged me to watch the powerful juke joint scene from the movie, "Sinners". Once I experienced it, I couldn’t shake the depth of its message—the way it wove together history, culture, rhythm, and storytelling through music and movement. That moment sparked an idea that has grown into a celebration of our cultural ancestry—honoring the voices, the artists, and the legacy that continues to live through music & dance.

Our 27th Annual Generation Dance Company Recital Showcase is more than a performance—it’s a journey through time, expression, and heritage.

This was my Beginner Ballet Pointe classes way of saying hello to me this past Saturday. I adore each one of these girls. They simply make me smile 😊…. I mean look at those faces.

This was them attempting to convince me to use a certain song for their recital dance… FYI, it was a hard no from me- but they definitely tried very hard to convince me! Lol 😂
