Wrapped up the season today with the State Meet in Fort Dodge. Thanks to all the family and friends who came to support the girls. It was another great day to run! Finished in 13th as a team.

Ticket Punched!! The girls team placed 2nd at the SQM last night, qualifying them for the State XC Meet in Fort Dodge next Friday. Also qualifying individually were Lexus (7th) and Liv (14th). The boys and girls all had a great race, with PR's from Liv, Taylor, Clair, Keaton, & Karson. Season bests by Ella & Jack.

UPDATED FRIDAY:

Wow, what a night at the State Qualifying Meet right here in Cresco! The hometown crowd was fabulous, and the girls really came to compete. 7 events qualified automatically by placing 1st or 2nd, and we’re hopefull on a couple more (I’ll update on them tomorrow).
And we were Team Champions!

Ava - 🥇1st in High Jump (PR)
Isabella - 🥇1st in Long Jump
Korey - 🥇1st in Discus (New School Record! - Sharon Goodman was the first one to congratulate her. ❤️)
Charley - 🥇1st in 100
Lily - 🥈2nd in 200
4x200 - 🥇1st (Charley, Aubrey, Isabella, & Lily)
4x100 - 🥇1st (Charley, Aubrey, Isabella, & Lily - New School Record!)

ALSO……
Laney - 3000 m run (5th)
Rose - shot put (3rd) (also a PR!)
Korey - shot put (4th)
10 Total Qualifying Events!!

Many more great performances from all of our girls. It truly was a team effort.

We’ll be competing at the State Meet in Des Moines next Thursday thru Saturday.

Big thank you to everyone who came to cheer us on or help with the meet.

Korey - discus 2nd
Isabella - long jump 1st (PR)
Lily - long jump 2nd
Ella B - high jump 3rd (tie)
Charley - 100m 3rd (SB)
Lily - 200m 2nd ( SB)
Laney - 1500 3rd (SB)
Laney - 3000 1st (PR)
DMR - 3rd
