Crestwood Cadets Wrestling

Crestwood Wrestling had 16 wrestlers attend the Luther Wrestling Camp from July 19–22. Camp consisted of technique sessions, team-building activities and dual meets.

Crestwood went 2–8 in dual meets and concluded camp with an individual tournament. Logan McCabe and Walker Dohlman earned Wrestler of the Day honors for the Cadets.

Thank you to Cresco Youth Wrestling Club, the parents and the wrestlers for investing their time and money into the future success of our program!

Also, thank you to Coach Brown, Coach Gary Steffen, Coach Kaden Anderlik and Justin Sovereign for helping out at camp.

Proud of these 15 Crestwood Cadets for taking time to get on the mat and prepare for the 2026-2027 season. Off season training makes winter champions. Had some great duals with many exciting matches. The Cadets made the Silver bracket as a team and finished 3-4 in duals. These ladies had a great counselor from Luther College. Brooklynn Baird is a multiple state place winner from South Dakota. She worked with the girls on technique and did an awesome job. The first two days of the camp consisted of excellent technique sessions, team building activities, and duals. The third day was an individual tournament with great competition. Several coaches were present along with wonderful parent/fan support. Looking forward to the upcoming season!

After a full slate of duals over 2 days these wrestlers battled through the last day of camp to earn individual tournament titles at the 2026 Luther TLAN GIRLS Team Camp! Great group of wrestlers!
