Thursdays start feeling a little like the weekend at The Oaks Golf Club!

🍽️ Starting with lunch! Sandy and Darrell are in the Clubhouse serving up our Thursday favorite — Pub Style Fish & Chips! Two big haddock filets with fresh cut fries, coleslaw, and your choice of 2 hushpuppies or 2 beer-battered onion rings for just $15.99. 😋

🎤 Then at 5:00, the microphones come out and it's time for Karaoke! Come spend the evening with Britnie and Angie, sing a song (or just cheer on the brave ones 😉), grab a cold drink, and settle in for a fun night.

And while you’re here this evening, be sure to say hello to the newest face on our Clubhouse team — Michelle! We’re so happy to have her with us, and we think you’re going to love her! ❤️

Luckily, we know a place...

Clubhouse Burger Day is happening at The Oaks Golf Club — a half-pound burger on a brioche bun with our fresh-cut fries and a pickle. Nothing fancy, just a really good burger.

Pink Out Putnam is just about a month away! Our next volunteer meeting is this Wednesday at 6 PM at the clubhouse. We’ve got plans to make, details to tackle, and plenty of room around the table for anyone who would like to be part of it.

Our patio is looking pretty good these days!

There are still a few finishing touches to take care of, but we couldn’t resist showing off our newly updated covered patio space at The Oaks Golf Club!

With plenty of shade, a nice breeze, good food, cold drinks, and a view of the 9th hole, we think it’s going to become a favorite spot around here.

Grab a table, order some lunch or dinner, enjoy cocktails with friends, and keep an eye on the 9th… you never know when you might witness a birdie — or at least a shot worth talking about. 😉

🐾 And don’t leave your favorite sidekick at home! Well-behaved, leashed fur babies are welcome to join you on the patio, too. ❤️

Happy Saturday from The Oaks Golf Club!

You may notice a little excitement happening in the ladies’ bathroom. You know how they say things sometimes have to get worse before they get better? Well… we’re currently living that part! 😂 We've got some hardworking ladies who have our renovation well underway, so please use a little extra caution as you make your way to the stalls. It’s a work in progress, but we’re excited to see it all coming together!

We’re holding our second volunteer meeting for the Pink Out Putnam Tournament, coming up October 17th. We welcome anyone who would like to join us, share ideas, or lend a helping hand. This special tournament means so much to our community, come see what it's all about.🩷

Today in the clubhouse—our 24-piece shrimp special is available through dinner, and breakfast is waiting for you all day, every day!

Good morning and happy Friday from The Oaks Golf Club!

The pond along the third fairway is a good indicator at the amount of rain we had yesterday evening. With all the extra water on the course, our grounds crew is asking that all carts stay on cart paths and high ground today. Please avoid soft or soggy areas and help us protect the course while it dries out.

IT’S TIME TO PINK OUT PUTNAM at The Oaks Golf Club! 💗

The Ladies of The Oaks Golf Club are gearing up for our 2026 Pink Out Putnam Golf Tournament, happening Saturday, October 17th, and we’re calling on our amazing community to help us make this year’s tournament our best yet!

There are THREE great ways to get involved:

Show your support with a hole sponsorship! It’s a great way for local businesses, families, and individuals to stand behind a cause that touches so many of us. You will receive sign recognition on a hole in addition to in the clubhouse and social media recognition. (see sponsor form below for more information)
🎁 DONATE A RAFFLE ITEM
Gift baskets, gift certificates, merchandise, services, or other fun items are all welcome! Our raffle is always a big part of tournament day, and every donation helps!

💕 Why do we do it?
Because breast cancer has touched far too many families, friends, mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, and neighbors.
And one of the things we’re most proud of: the funds raised through Pink Out Putnam stay right here in Putnam County, helping support people in our own community.

Last year, we were able to donate $5,742.84. This year, we’d love to make an even bigger impact—but we can’t do it without your help.
