Nationwide Supplement Recalls — June 2026
Several major supplement recalls have been issued in the U.S. in recent weeks, affecting products from multiple brands and with varying safety concerns.
1. Moringa Capsules — Possible Salmonella Contamination
The FDA and CDC have expanded recalls of TNVitamins Ultra Potent Complete Green Superfood Moringa and Doctor’s Pride Complete Green Superfood Ultra Potent Moringa capsules after linking them to an ongoing multistate Salmonella outbreak Yahoo+1.
Affected lots: TNVitamins — 2507199 (exp. 09/2027), 2512-304 (exp. 02/2028), 2793 (exp. 02/2028), 2748 (exp. 07/2027); Doctor’s Pride — 2507199 (exp. 09/2027), 2748 (exp. 07/2027).
Why: Possible contamination with Salmonella, which can cause severe illness, especially in vulnerable populations.
Action: Stop using, dispose of, and request a refund from the company.
2. Herbal Supplements — Undeclared Allergens
Herbs Forever LLC has recalled two Ayurvedic herbal products for possible undeclared wheat flour contamination The Healthy.
Products: Gastro Care Ayruvedic Herbal Supplement (90-count, UPC 807814001243, batch 124-4, exp. 01/2029) and Hingwastika Churna Ayruvedic Herbal Supplement (90-count, UPC 807814006224, batch 622-2, exp. 06/2029).
Risk: Wheat is a major allergen; severe reactions possible.
Action: Return to seller for refund.
3. Vitamin E Labeling Issue — Class III Recall
Sato Pharmaceutical Inc. has recalled Energy & Health Herbal Supplement with Vitamins (brand Yunker) for not meeting label claims for vitamin E content Yahoo.
Units: Single (UPC 49873-916-11, exp. 01/2027), 3-pack (UPC 49873-916-15, exp. 01/2027), 10-pack (UPC 49873-916-07, exp. 03/2026 or 12/2027).
Risk: Low — not expected to cause adverse health effects.
Action: Consumers may choose to return if they want the correct vitamin E amount.
4. Other Notable Recall — Child Safety Hazard
The CPSC is recalling over 350,000 bottles of multivitamins, prenatal vitamins, and iron supplements due to lack of child-resistant packaging EatingWell.
Brands: Arey Not Today, Bari Life, Bird&Be, Biote Nutraceutical, Dr. Fuhrman, HMR Multi, Noevir, NuLife, Sakara, Zenbean Kids Café.
Action: Return to seller or contact Vitaquest International for free replacement caps/pouches.
What to Do if You Have Affected Products:
Stop using immediately.
Dispose of or return to the point of purchase.
Contact the manufacturer or seller for refunds.
Wash any containers or surfaces that may have touched the product.
Seek medical attention if you develop symptoms like fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or allergic reactions.
