FALL BASEBALL REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED! ⚾️

We had a record-breaking 8️⃣4️⃣players register for Fall Baseball! 🙌

And the very best part? We were able to welcome EVERY player from the waitlist! ((Parents— Be sure to give your coaches a huge THANK YOU for volunteering to help get all these kids on the field this Fall!)) ❤️

This season, we’ll be hitting the fields with:
⚾️ 2 Major Division teams
⚾️ 2 Minor Division teams
⚾️ A whopping 33 players in our Coach Pitch Clinic!

We’re looking forward to an awesome fall season and are so thankful for all of the families who continue to support our league. ❤️

Now, it’s time to PLAY BALL! ⚾️🍂

**Spots are first come, first served— Once a ‘team’ fills, a waitlist will open. We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone and add additional teams as registration numbers allow. Registrations will be accepted and additional waitlists will be made as each ‘team’ fills. If we do not get enough participation to fill a team, waitlisted players may be unable to participate.

Now that all of our divisions have wrapped up their seasons, it's time to celebrate! Mark your calendars for our End-of-Season Celebration! ⚾️🍿🎥

⚾️ Last weekend we hosted the PVAA Coach Pitch Playoff Tournament, wrapping up the season for our 8U division! ⚾️

We had 9 teams participate in the playoffs. 6 of those teams were from PVAA, and of those, 4 of them made it to the semi-finals! With a final score of 10-8, Outdoor Club secured their final win of their undefeated season!

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to all for a great season! ❤️⚾️

Taking nothing away from the other age groups, I just have to share what a true joy it is to watch the 6-8 year olds play ball together!

Many of these kids are fresh out of T-ball, but jump right into the batter's box, chasing fly balls, and learning what it means to be part of a team. The fundamentals may still be a work in progress, but the excitement is already championship level!

The oversized jerseys, the dirt-covered pants, the huge smiles—sometimes missing a few teeth—and the pure joy on their faces remind us what youth baseball is really about!

They cheer for their teammates, compete against their friends, celebrate every hit like it’s a home-run, and race out of the dugout with stories they'll be talking about all summer long.

Win or lose, they're making memories, building confidence, and falling in love with the game!

If you've never spent an evening watching the youngest divisions play baseball, you're truly missing one of the best parts of the sport. It's baseball in its purest form—fun, friendship, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. ⚾❤️

The Hendershot boys of Hometown Hobby (Nate, Will and Shepherd) would like to offer all the boys and girls of the area one FREE baseball or softball game ball acrylic display as a gift for having a great season! Just stop down to the shop at 66 Pershing St downtown Cumberland 12-6pm Wednesday through Friday or 10-5pm on Saturday to pick them up *one per child please, no purchase necessary*
