Took the J12 Late Model to Dixieland Speedway for the very first time this weekend. We unloaded and rolled straight into hot laps and qualifying. The car was good right off the trailer, and we were able to qualify 4th against a strong field.

The racetrack had a lot of character and kept the drivers busy all night, but the J12 was competitive from the drop of the green flag. We were able to bring home a solid 3rd-place finish and continue building momentum for the season.

Overall, it was a great night for the J12 JDR Racing team. We’re learning, improving, and getting better every time we hit the track.

We had a stout field of 24 Late Models at County Line Raceway Saturday night. We qualified 7th and finished 8th in the feature.

The track was dry slick and narrowed down to a one-groove racetrack, making passing tough all night. Our car continues to get better every time we hit the track, and we’re getting closer. We just need to fine-tune a few things to find a little more speed in qualifying and put ourselves in a better position for the feature.

Overall, it was a solid night for the team, and we’re continuing to make progress. Thank you to everyone who supports our racing program.

Tough night at the track for the J12 team.

Track conditions were rough and it seemed like everyone was trying to win the race on the first lap. Unfortunately that led to several good cars getting tore up early.

We showed really good speed all weekend and felt like we had a strong car. We just needed a little luck on our side and last night it didn’t fall our way. That’s racing sometimes.

The most important thing is everyone walked away okay.

Proud of this team for the hard work and never-quit attitude. We’ll get the car fixed up and come back stronger next time.
