Big improvements happening on the course!

#8 Bridge has officially been redone, and we want to give a huge thank you to our wonderful board members for their time, dedication, and hard work making this happen.

Projects like this help keep our course safe, beautiful, and ready for the fun summer months ahead. We’re excited for what’s coming and can’t wait to see everyone out enjoying the course all season long! 🌞⛳️

Golf Course Assistant II

South Granville Country Club is an 18 Hole member owned club located in Creedmoor. We are seeking a golf course assistant II. This is a full-time hourly position. Due to the nature of the golf course industry, this position may require occasional extended and possible weekend workdays. Hours will vary by season. The Golf Course Assistant II will report to the Course Manager or Superintendent and the President and Board of Directors.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Follow and execute assigned tasks from the Course Manager or Superintendent in performing course maintenance
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain all power tools and equipment as needed or recommended
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe course conditions to superiors
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines
• Keep grounds free from trash, litter, and debris
• Assist other crew members and or staff as directed and needed
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Experience operating landscaping hand tools and power equipment is a plus
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid Driver’s license, not currently revoked or suspended
• If requested, MUST be able to pass a background check, drug test and be eligible to work in the USA
Work Environment
• This position will require employee to work outside in all weather conditions
Additional Duties
• Be a self-motivated and responsible team member, showing initiative by providing feedback on ways to improve personal and team performance
• Maintain a positive attitude with other employees, members, and guests
• Create an environment of enjoyment for members and guests
