🥎 Heartbreak on the Diamond, But Pride in Our Hearts
It wasn’t the ending we envisioned, but what a journey it’s been. Tonight, our South Granville season came to an end in Round 1 of the NCHSAA Playoffs against a tough Western Alamance team. While the scoreboard might not have gone our way, it doesn't take away from the grit, sweat, and heart this team poured into every single inning this year.

To Our Seniors: The Newest Members of the Alumni Family

Tonight, we hang up three very special jerseys. Avery Wilson, Tiatana Bates, and Kala Cannady—you three have been the heartbeat of this dugout.

Avery: Thank you for your leadership and for setting the standard of what it means to be a Viking.

Tiatana: Your energy and hustle have been an inspiration to the younger players.

Kala: Your dedication to the game and this team has left a lasting mark on this program.

You leave the field tonight as legends in our eyes. We can’t wait to see the amazing things you’ll achieve in your next chapters. Welcome to the South Granville Alumni ranks! 🎓🥎

We are headed to Western Alamance tomorrow for Round 1 of Playoffs. Game begins at 6pm.

The Brackets for the Baseball and Softball Playoffs are now final! Visit www.nchsaa.org to see where your team is playing. First-round matchups are set for tomorrow.

We’re proud to celebrate two of our SGHS softball players as they take the next step in their athletic and academic journeys.

Tiatiana Bates (left) has signed to continue her softball career at Shaw University, and Kala Cannady has signed with William Peace University.

Both of these young women have shown tremendous dedication, work ethic, and commitment to our softball program over the years. We are excited to see all they will accomplish at the next level and are grateful for the impact they’ve made on SGHS Softball.

We are incredibly excited to announce that Kala Cannandy has officially committed to continue her softball career at William Peace University! 🥎

This is a well-deserved milestone, and we are so proud of the hard work and dedication Kala has shown both on the field and in the classroom. Please join us to celebrate this major accomplishment as she signs with the Pacers!
