Thank you to all our participants and volunteers for this year’s Crawford Nebraska Chamber of Commerce sponsored Annual White River 5k. After expenses you helped raise over $2,300 for Mr. Fireworks!!

The Annual White River 5K Mr. Fireworks Fun Run/Walk had a total of 70 participants this year with funds raised for Mr. Fireworks after expenses. We thank all the participants and appreciate the support for Mr. Fireworks. The Crawford Chamber of Commerce gave four prizes of Chamber Bucks out, which included first male and first female to cross the finish line given to two participants from Hemingford Austin Banda and Ainslee Woltman. The second set of Chamber Bucks went to the Most Patriotic Dressed male and female which was London Gillam and Talen Huggett dressed as Eagles, and Krista Hiatt from Springville, Utah. Volunteer help is unmeasurable and we would like to thank Nathan Heine, Kathy Smith, Tim and Connie Bosak, Darcy Hays, and Pattie Grimm for volunteering for the 5K this year! Happy 4th of July!! Thank you one and all for participating in this year’s race. You assist in keeping a tradition going with proceeds being donated to Mr Fireworks!! See you all next year!

Only a couple more days to pre-register and be guaranteed a shirt. Pre register at runsignup.com. Rates increase June 20 and a shirt is not guaranteed. The route may have to be changed due to the fire. We will keep everyone posted. Also, discussion will occur at the next Chamber meeting (July 21st at 5:45 pm at the Library), on where this year’s funds should go.

Thank you to everyone that participated in this year’s fun run The first male was Austin Benda at 17.37 and the first female was Jillian Brennan at 21.61. They were only able to accept the prizes because it wasn’t cash. We didn’t get pictures of the most patriotic dressed male and female winners.
