Oglethorpe County Recreation Department The Oglethorpe County Recreation Department is operated out of Bryan Park in Crawford, Ga and offers a variety of activities and programs for all ages.

The Recreation Department is responsible for the organization and management of a variety of programs and services. We are continuously adding programs to serve the needs of the community, so please do not hesitate to give suggestions!

IMPORTANT SOCCER UPDATE:
Due to Open House falling on the same days as our evaluations, we will be moving them to the following week in order to let kids and parents take their time and get everything done at the schools without worrying about being on time to soccer. New dates are as follows:

10u- August 10th: 6:00pm
12u/14u- August 10th: 7:00pm
8u- August 11th: 6:00pm
NO EVALS FOR 6U

Soccer evaluations will be August 3rd and 4th
Cross Country registration ends July 29th!

Fall Evaluations-
Volleyball:
July 27th:
8u- 6:00pm
12u- 7:00pm
17u- 8:00pm (If needed)

July 28th:
10u- 6:00pm
14u- 7:00pm (If needed)

Soccer:
August 3rd:
10u- 6:00pm
12u/14u- 7:00pm

August 4th:
8u- 6:00pm

Park Vandalism – We Need Your Help

Sometime over the weekend of July 17–19, our park was vandalized. Tennis balls were flushed down the restroom toilets, causing damage, and the backs of several toilets were removed and shattered on the ground.

What makes this even more disheartening is that a significant amount of money was recently invested in renovating these bathrooms for our community to enjoy. Acts like this not only destroy public property but also waste taxpayer dollars and take away resources that could be used to improve our parks.

We are asking for the community’s help. If you witnessed anything suspicious or have any information about this incident, please contact us. Any information, no matter how small, could make a difference.

Please help us keep our park a safe, clean, and welcoming place for everyone.
