As we wrap up the 2025 deer season, I just want to say thank you to all of our deer hunters. We’re lucky to work with such a great group of guys and families, and I truly appreciate the trust you continue to put in us year after year. You all have become more like family over the last 15 years.

Looking ahead to 2026, draw dates for both turkey and deer are coming up fast, so I wanted to get this information out early. As most of you know, we haven’t run a turkey schedule since COVID. With rising costs and additional leases coming online for 2026, we’ve decided to bring back a 2026 turkey season. Our goal is to help offset some of those increased expenses so we don’t have to make major changes to the cost of our whitetail hunts.

2026 Nonresident Spring Turkey Draw
📅 Application Period: January 13 – February 13, 2026
(Opening date subject to change)

A few important reminders:
• Preference points can ONLY be purchased during the application period
• Nonresident spring turkey permits are lottery draw only
• No paper or mail-in applications
• Permits are valid for one unit only
• Nonresidents can apply for Units 1, 2, 3, 5, or 6
• Any leftover permits will be sold first-come, first-served after the draw

👉 We hunt TURKEY in UNIT 6
• Turkey groups are a minimum of 4 guys

Turkey Season Dates:
🦃 Youth / Disabled: April 1–15, 2025
🦃 Archery: April 7–15, 2025
🦃 Regular: April 16 – May 31, 2025

At this time all weeks have been spoken for. Reminder deposits are due no later the March 15, after that weeks will open back up. Deer clients who are also Turkey hunting you can put your deposit down then if you reach out and let me know. Arrangements can be made but unfortunately after a couple last minute cancellations I have to require a deposit to hold your week.

If you haven’t ever hunted with us I will need your emails. I will be sending your paper work via email.

Venmo is fine, if you would prefer an invoice I can also send one and you will get a payment link.

Spots for 2023 deer season has been booking quickly. At this point I think the only week that is not spoken for is the second week of rifle season. We will confirm this over the weekend. But if you want those dates it is first come first served.

All other hunters that have spoken for weeks please get with me on deposits. Deposits will be due no later than March 15th to ensure the dates are locked in.

Also locking down spring Turkey dates! Those are first come first serve as well make sure you are on the calendar for those Thunder Chickens.

NEW FOR 2023. We will be offering pheasant hunting.

2023 is here and with that means we are starting to fill up for the 2023 hunting season. Please get with us to be sure and get the week you want. We will be getting paperwork out over the next few weeks.

Looking forward The deadline for applying is APRIL 30, 2023. To ensure a timely drawing and notification, APPLY EARLY. I have a several on the books already but please reach out to me (Whitney) or Brian to make sure I have you down. Looking forward to another amazing season!
