Been doing a lot more running than riding lately but still have some cycling legs left in me. Cold and windy but had good groups and good company to help pull me along.

Thanks to the folks at the Gorilla Century for hosting another great event.

Check out my ride on Strava.

These good boys followed me up Rackley! “Shaq” (according to his collar) is a LOT bigger than he looks in this pic... he was a horse! ... I began to wonder if he was waiting for me to fall out so he could have a snack!!! @ Mountainburg, Arkansas

Just got home from a fun weekend in Hot Springs hanging out with friends and participating in the Ouachita Gravel Grind hosted by SHAM Events. The weather did its best to not cooperate at all. Rain, more rain, and freezing cold let to most of the field calling it quits at the halfway point, including me. I had three pairs of gloves on and even that wasn't enough. Once they got wet it was all over. Kudos to the event organizers for taking care of a bunch of cold riders and transporting us back to the finish line. The course and the scenery were beautiful. I'm looking forward to riding in this event again, hopefully in better conditions. I didn't get any photos (rain isn't good for cell phones and my fingers weren't operational anyways), so I've included the only good photo taken yesterday, courtesy of Holly Anderson.
