Crater Lake Rim Run Half Marathon
The gloriously blue waters of Crater Lake reflect surrounding mountain peaks like a giant dark-blue mirror,
making for spectacular photographs and breathtaking panoramas. Crater Lake is Oregon’s only national
park and also the USA’s deepest lake at 1943ft deep.

The park’s popular south entrance is open year-round and provides access to Rim Village and Mazama Village,
as well as the park headquarters at the Steel Visitors Center. In winter you can only go up to the lake’s rim
and back down the same way; no other roads are plowed. The north entrance is only open from early June to late October,
depending on snowfall.

With that being said, the Crater Lake Rim Run is the place to be!!

Filled with rugged Pacific Northwest mountain terrain that encircles one of the country’s most majestic and beautiful lakes,
Oregon’s Crater Lake National Park is the home of the annual running of the Crater Lake Rim Runs Marathon, Half Marathon
& 6.7-Mile Run/Walk, which takes participants around the rim of Crater Lake at altitudes ranging from 5,980
to 7,850 feet above sea level.

This challenging, high-elevation run promises breathtaking views along with a relatively small and intimate race field size,
as the event is limited to 500 entrants for all three races combined.
