Softball families:

It is with our deepest sorrow and great sadness to inform our CNBLL & RI Ravens softball families that our beloved Maria "Aunty Mary" Civita Vallante has passed away peacefully on May 10th. She is the Godmother/Aunt of CNBLL board member Michael Casale.

Her funeral and visitation will be held Thursday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Bartholomew Church. www.romanofuneralhome.com.

Softball families:

It is with our deepest sorrow and great sadness to inform our CNBLL & RI Ravens softball families that our beloved Silvester Medeiros has passed away peacefully yesterday. He is the father of past CNBLL board members Angie Medeiros Salvato & father-in-law to Tom Salvato, grandfather of Torie and Madison.

His funeral will begin Friday, April 26, at 8:45am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday, from 4pm until 8pm.

It is with our deepest sorrow and great sadness to inform our CNBLL & RI Ravens softball families that our beloved Vincent C. Messina, father of Vincent & Christina Messina, grandfather of Gian and Alessandra has passed away peacefully on November 7th.

Please keep the Messina family in your prayers and may God give them strength during this difficult time.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence. Burial will be private.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 10th at 9:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery Exeter. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00pm.
