“I want to get in shape for the season”

Training to be more explosive, faster, or more agile should be a year round focus and not something you only prioritize before the season.

Since strength gains start to diminish in only 2-3 weeks, it’s important to maintain strength & speed gains from the offseason by continuing training year round ⚡️

Athletes, ask yourself: Why am I playing the same sport on three different teams right now?

Do you just want to play your sport or do you want to play at the highest level for your sport?

Whether it’s the offseason or in season, find the time to work on building the foundation to get faster and stronger💪🏼

Your golf swing asks a lot from your body. ⛳️

You need to rotate, stabilize, create separation, and repeat those movements over and over again for 18 holes.

That’s why mobility matters.

It’s not about being able to touch your toes or becoming incredibly flexible. It’s about having the mobility and control to get into the positions your swing demands.

The better your body can move, the more options you have on the course.

Train your body for the demands of your game.

Your golf swing asks a lot from your body.⛳️

If your hips, upper back, or shoulders are lacking mobility, it can be harder to get into positions you need to swing efficiently.

The goal isn’t to become more flexible just for the sake of it.

It’s to move better, feel better, and give yourself more freedom in your swing.

Don’t just take our word for it. ⛳️

The best part of what we do is seeing our clients feel the difference in their golf game, and in their everyday movement.

From improving mobility and strength to feeling more confident on the course, our goal is to help golfers move better and play better.

Here’s what one of our golfers had to say about their experience at Olympia 👇

“ I’ve worked out my entire life doing the traditional weight training circuit myself day in day out.. I know how to workout, I needed something different and personally wanted accountability.

I enlisted in Olympia’s 12 week program with a focus on specific goals that I wanted to accomplish to help improve my core strength, hip mobility with Mike Lefebvre.

Mike customized a program that has tremendously improved all my goals, increased my strength and given me more yards on my goal swing (my true goal). Always followed up with ongoing communication (great accountability here) and was very flexible if I had to change my schedule.

The entire staff are extremely knowledgeable, outgoing and professional. The gym is very clean and well organized. I highly recommend looking into a program with Olympia Fitness if you’re looking for a fitness accountability coach and are serious about change - this place nailed it!”

You don’t have to be a golfer to understand how a golfer needs to move ⛳️

A good golf swing requires your body to rotate, shift, and move through a wide range of positions.

That’s why we look at more than just the swing.

✅ Can your upper back rotate?
✅ Can your shoulders move freely?
✅ Can your hips rotate?

If mobility is limited, your body may have to find other ways to create the movement you need.

Better movement starts with knowing where you’re limited.

Move better. Swing better. Play better. ⛳️💪🏼

Your training shouldn’t look the same in season as it does in the off-season.

During the offseason, you have more room to push volume and build.

During the season, the goal shifts toward maintaining strength and power while managing the demands of practices, games, travel, and recovery.

Same athlete. Same long-term goal. Different training approach.
That’s what smart in-season training looks like.

The season doesn’t mean training stops.

It means training has to become smarter.

Gavin came to Olympia during his return from ACL surgery and continued working to become a better athlete - not just for the offseason, but for what came next.

That’s what inseason training is about: maintaining strength, continuing to develop, and keeping athletes prepared to perform.

Your season is the competition.
Your training helps you stay ready for it.
