Finally getting to our year end wrap up!
What a season we had!
9 races, 8 Podiums, 5 Wins, 3 race series
And the Pro Rock Championship!
To me this is a perfect season. Early in the year after skipping KOH and taking the year off U4 I set my goal to win a Championship if not multiple, schedule Conflicts eventually made me concentrate mainly on Pro Rock and was also excited to race with them as I believe they have the best spectator numbers in the sport outside of KOH and Joey & Tripp put on a hell of a fun day of racing.
I did my normal prep routine of the car each race and the Miller Pro Chassis did work every race with only snapped axle shafts that caused the DNF at Renegades on the Ridge and zero other race ending mechanical issues. We had a tough early season with flats as the Desert Spec Yokohama race tires just could not handle the sharp rocks of PA. Our Vision Manx wheels helped us tremendously holding up great allowing us to drive on flats to the pits every time. We eventually switched back to Nittos for the last 3 races and had zero flat tires! Nitto FTW!!!
Since I started racing, the Miller Motorsports crew has been huge to my success. I cant Thank the whole crew enough as have been there above and beyond whenever needed. If its not Erik next day airing parts its John Balducci on the phone helping me keep the car in top shape. My other Miller Team mates Big B and Legacy Racing are always there as well and a Big Thanks to them too!
The icing on the cake to me this season is I finally felt Lauren (14yrs old) is big and strong enough now to strap her in the car and know she would be ok. She did great and had a ball, although getting her to check in with me during the race was a challenge as she said she didnt want to talk and distract me 🤣
Winning the Final Pro rock race and wrapping up the Championship with her in the car had me in tears coming up the last stretch the Finish Line!! This was the highlight of my racing career by far and hope not the last with her!
