Recap from Rounds 1&2
Friday, we geared up for a full day of driving starting with my first drive in the Pro-Spec. Practice we spent learning and making suspension adjustments and feeling out the truck. Later, the Super Stock Truck made it to practice but a mechanical problem parked it for the weekend. Pro-Spec Qualifying came and we learned some more with suspension setup and adjusted afterword.
Saturday, Race 1, I started to feel comfortable with the truck and started run pretty smooth laps until a punctured tire made us hot-pit. But still remained and the lead lap and finishing 8th.
Sunday, Race 2, starting 5th I made my way up to 3rd but a small error put us back to 5th before the halfway restart. At the start of the restart, we were collected in a racing incident that set us back the rest of the race but still finished with an 8th.
