Corn ears in the duck lake are ankle, knee to waist height best corn that we have ever had in the Spoonville duck lake. Can’t wait until the mallards find it.

We will have just a few memberships available for the 2025 waterfowl season. We do have a few waterfowl hunters on the waiting list that we need to touch base with. However if you are interested in unique waterfowl opprotunity and experience

Here are the basics.

Squaw Creek HuntClub 2025 Memberhsip

Membership Cost - $5000.00

Dues:
February 1 - deposit of $2500
October 1 - balance of $2500

This will give you access to all the blinds with only club members and their guests for the 2025 waterfowl season. Including some January Canada hunting if the opportunity presents itself and spring snow goose hunts based on availability.

We will have the following blinds this fall. The North 29er (East and West Pool) South 29er, Spoonville, The Pond, Hammer 80, Goliath and Behind the House, Blinds will be rotated with members daily. These locations include boat, pit, and A frame blinds. These locations will be flooded standing corn fields and vertical till cornfields.

All decoys will be located at each location.

Members are placed on the schedule by messaging Joe the week or night before. Schedule will come out by 8 pm evening

All gear will be included at each location members are required to have their own motion decoys (pumpers, squirters, and mojos) There will be limited lodging for members at the P Hwy club house. Whomever will be leasing the E Hwy house talk to them if you would like to rent it when they aren’t using is.
Club members are allowed to hunt everyday of the season however you must stay within bag and possession limits. If you violate either of those and receive a citation you will be suspended for a week and if there is a second offense you will be suspended for the rest of the year. Any other violations will be dealt with on case by case based.

You will receive 5 guest passes for fall waterfowl season. If you schedule a guest, and they no show that’s morning, you loose that guest pass. Guests are scheduled by calling or messaging Joe. You must also schedule your guests. Additional guest passes may be purchased 5 / $1000

Your fitness to be able to get to and from the blind, in and out of the blind and recover downed waterfowl is very important both for your safety and the safety of others. You must be able to do all of these things without putting yourself at risk, or other members, guests and staff

When you buy a membership, we will email you a member packet. There will be some rules / guidelines in place that will help the betterment of SCHC & GS

Also, we are going to encourage & recommend that you have access to, or own a 4 Wheeler or a S X S. Any questions fell free to call or text Joe or me.

The last two days did produce some shooting action for SCHC members. I will do a year end report tomorrow. However this duck season and migration wasn’t what any of us were use to.

JAZZ was awesome once again today. John, Jazz and me went to the South 29er flooded corn yesterday and had some fun. As many of you know Jazz is Dave Snodgrass’s lab. Dave is iur club member that was killed in a UTV / car / deer accident. Jazz continues to inspire and help all of us with this tragedy.

On a side note this season has been tough to say the least with both the migration and the weather. Just because I am posting some harvest photos we haven’t taken appropriately 6-12 guided groups this year because it wouldn’t have been productive.

Squaw Creek Refuge migration & hunting report.

- refuge is holding approximately 550k of really smart snow geese
- us and many other guide services are harvesting 4 - 15 birds per blind / per day
- there are still birds south and it’s a migration and they will trickle north slowly
- migration is 2-3 weeks ahead of what is typical
- we are giving all groups the option to reschdule to 2025
