I'll have to get busy and post some more pictures but not until after the 27th of FEB MOM will be 103 years YOUNG!!!! and still piecing for donation qults.!!!! She has put in lots of hours helping to teach me how to sew to start with, setting up and manning booths at craft shows, sewing gift quilts for LOTS of family and friends, and still sews what she can. Even taking quilts to the NE state fair. If anyone seeing this would like to wish her a happy birthday i'll print off the coments and read them to her. She has trouble seeing the conputer screen any more but would love input from fellow sewers.

HI here are a couple of pictures of some more recent quilts. The lavender one was a fun quilt lots of flowers and feathers. the bold blocks and gray/black quilt and pillows from old family blocks. It is always fun to work up projects with family history in them, Awesome. Last but not least the pink quilt was for our youngest great granddaughter. The pink on the top is a soft pink cordory to give it a little more texture. Always love creating for the little ones.

Here are a few of the projects I have completed lately. A baby quilt with cross stitched blocks. One of several t-shirt quilts finished. Also a quilt from a wedding dress using satin, lace and trim from the dress and parts of the veil and edge trim. Every project is unique interesting and a new challenge. Thanks for entrusting your special items and memories to me to create a special item with your memories.

Here is my mom, Helen with just a few of the quilts she still sews at 102 years young. She has macular and has lots of lighting but she loves to sew . She is like a busy bee sewing up all that Dawne ( my sister in law) can cut for her. Once she has sewn the tops then I quilt them and Dawne and I finish them off for various donations. This picture was taken just a couple of weeks ago.

This was a fun quilt to quilt for a young gentleman.

Forget-Me-Not Creations.....

I’ve sewn most of my life starting with 4-H, my mom and grandmother sewed. I don’t think either of them used patterns. Therefore I love to created with whatever, however I want to. I’ve been told in the quilting world there are no “set” rules which suits me fine.

I love to work with people to create items (everything from Casket Covers to Custom Quilts) just for them.....Their likes, their colors, their warmth, their favorites.... everything from cartoons to ballet to sports and Beyond. I believe that as a Long-Arm quilter and all-around quilter I should try my best to fulfill my clients wishes and dreams for their personal items. Whether it is creating some new memory or helping preserve an existing memory.

I am a professional Long-Arm quilter and have won awards at the Nebraska State level. I love to do freehand quilting. Each quilt has a theme or design that is just saying -- leaves, feathers, hearts, start, snowflakes, swirls, palm trees.......whatever. They are all unique and therefore I try to treat them as special as they are. I love to encourage new quilters. I think quilting is a fun and peaceful (except when ripping) way to fill your time.

Pricing comes up and it is hard to set prices when each project is different. I prefer to visit with you then put together an estimate and see where we go from there. No charge for a visit and and estimate. Please message me I would love to visit with you about your specific project.
