Our coach appreciation event was a huge success, thanks to the support of our Booster Club and Patrick Henry's. I was thrilled with the performance of our sports teams and athletes during the 2025-26 season, highlighted by our girls' championship titles in the Patroon Conference in tennis, basketball, and a historic third straight title in track and field. Individual achievements were also noteworthy, including Ryker Cox's state championship win. As the 2025-26 season concludes, I am excited for the 2026-27 season and the opportunities it will bring, starting with the upcoming offseason. Thank you again coaches!!

This past weekend, our Varsity Track & Field Athletes shined at States. Nemo Rockefeller became the 1st C-A athlete to ever compete in pentathlon at states. He finished 7th overall with a score of 2999, just a couple points shy of the podium. He finishes the season as the #1 ranked sophomore pentathlete in the state including all school sizes.

Our girls 4x100m relay team repeated as state medalists, again finishing in 5th place and again setting a new school record. Going back to the podium for a second time were Danielle Deering, Hailey Gibney and Avery Conrad. The newest member of the squad, Olivia Krstovish, earned her first state medal as a member of the team. This girls team ran a new school record of 49.86. They were less than half a second away from the #2 spot on the podium, showing how elite a race this is.

STATES BOUND!!

On Saturday, June 13 the C-A Girls 4x100m relay team of Avery Conrad, Olivia Krstovich, Danielle Deering and Hailey Gibney will be competing.

The girls are currently ranked 10th in the state in this event!

On both Saturday and Sunday, Nemo Rockefeller will be competing in the Pentathlon, which is a multi-event that includes long jump, high jump, shot put, high hurdles and the 1500m run.

Nemo is currently ranked 6th in the state in this event!

The 2026 Riverhawks Volleyball Camp was a huge success. 31 students in grades 3-6 participated in learning and growing in the sport of volleyball! A VERY BIG THANK YOU to our Mod, JV and Varsity girls for leading and being great role models! 🏐

Last night, C-A’s top athletes competed at the annual Section 2 State Qualifier Meet. This was all of the best T&F athletes in the Section 2 competing for a spot at States. There were many successes including our boys 4x100 team of Tatum Butler, Richie Perino, Joe Perino and Dontrez Smith who finished 2nd with a school record breaking time of 44.05, Noah Rullison with a 3rd place finish and a school record breaking time of 58.38 in the 400 hurdles.

We are also proud to be sending Nemo Rockefeller to states in the pentathlon and our 4x1 girls team of Avery Conrad, Olivia Krstovich, Danielle Deering and Hailey Gibney to states this coming weekend.
