2022 Spring Baseball

We wrapped up our league season tonight with a double header. The boys played some great baseball to close out the season.

It is so rewarding to look at each boy and see their growth in this game. From the kid who struggled hitting at the beginning of the season (who hit a great hard hit tonight), to the ones who struggled with even catching a throw, all of it adds up to just that, REWARDING!

I truly believe that’s why every coach should coach. To be rewarded with the growth in each and every player on their team and to see them learn so many things it teaches them. Responsibility, discipline, accountability, good sportsmanship, how to win, how to lose, grit, determination, and so many more life lessons. I’m so happy I chose to step up 8 years ago, this coach thing isn’t too bad!

Thank you to our awesome assistant coaches and the best group of parents. You guys make it so much easier. Thank you for entrusting us with your kiddos growth and teaching them some of those great life lessons.

Our Braves squad finished their 3 years of coach pitch in the Coweta league as champions every year, with an unblemished record of 34-0!!!! So dang proud of these boys and that accomplishment.

Already looking forward to next season!
