7th GRADE parents...we are desperate need of someone to be a GRADE REP for the seventh grade. We need someone to help get meals to YOUR hungry 7th graders on game days. This is a quick and easy way to let your boys know you love them and support them. The 8th grade and 9th grade parents should not have to serve the 7th grade players with ZERO help. SCRIMMAGE FORMAT
8-21-26

7TH grade and 8th grade scrimmage at 6:00pm
Ball on the +30 yard line on each end
7th grade on the North end
8th grade on the South end
Claremore on offense in 7th grade
Coweta on offense in 8th grade
Rotate after 10 minutes – 4 rotations

9th grade and JV scrimmage at 6:50
Ball on the +30 yard line on each end
9th grade on the North end
JV on the South end
Claremore on offense in 9th grade
Coweta on offense in JV
Rotate after 10 minutes – 4 rotations

Varsity scrimmage at 7:40pm
We will play two 12 minute quarters with normal clock rules.
3 time outs are allowed.
We will line up for kickoff and kickoff return. The ball will be kicked, but there is no return. The ball will be placed at the 30 yard line.
We will have PAT and FG with no rush.
We will punt with no rush and no fakes. Ball is dead where it is caught.
You can go for it on 4th down instead of punting.
No coaches on the field.

Our Football Booster club will feed the Claremore teams and coaches after the scrimmages

ADMISSION IS $5 CASH per person and no passes will be accepted.
CHIC FIL A SANDWICHES will be for sale! $6 each!

OK, due to low participation and maybe some confusion with the Fan Pledge platform we are postponing the Fan Pledge fundraiser until Tuesday, August 25th same time same place! Have your sons please bring their phones to football in the morning and we will get this little problem fixed! Thanks you all!

Help Coweta Football to reach the goal

It is FAN PLEDGE TIME! Let’s go! This is our annual fundraiser, and EVERY football player at Coweta is expected to participate. Just like every player expects to eat before a game, we need your help! The JH grades 7-8 will be this Tuesday, August 18th from 6-7pm at the Ricky Bryan Field House! Grades 9-12 will follow from 7-8pm! Last year we raised nearly $60,000 for our program and we need to do that again this year! We need your help getting your contacts ready, so that the fundraiser runs smoothly. I will attach the Fan Pledge instructions sheet, and I hope that you will help us help your son’s football program with essential needs by giving us good contacts. Go Tigers! 🐅

What an awesome and fun night last night watching all of our teams get a first taste of game-like action. We had a tremendous collection of Gatorade and laundry detergent! This will help ALL our teams stay hydrated and uniforms clean for quite some time.
We had great moments and individual plays on all teams and both sides of the ball!
We have a lot to be thankful for here in Coweta! We don't need to take too much out of a scrimmage. Just like there were a lot of great plays, there are TONS of things to work on as both individuals and teams. That is why you scrimmage.
Just to put things into perspective, we had our least experienced players in the 8th grade scrimmage against the 7th grade current 1st team. Afterwards, the least experienced freshman scrimmaged against the 8th grade teams current 1st team and it was a great scrimmage.
After this scrimmage concluded the 1st team 9th grade team scrimmaged the JV team very competitively.
Our Varsity then scrimmaged JV as well.
There were REALLY 3 goals for the scrimmage!
#1 Collect a lot of Gatorade
#2 Collect a lot of laundry detergent
#3 Have fun watching kids play a game they love.
#4 Have NO injuries!
We may have a few bumps and bruises, but no major injuries.
So COWETA a successful scrimmage.
We need to understand, that we might be on different sides of the ball, different grades, different positions, but one thing should ALWAYS ring true. We are ALL Coweta Tigers!
