Hi friends, we live in the Midwest where weather is very unpredictable. The pool will close if there is inclement weather. You need to pick your child up immediately or have somewhere for them to go. Also our closing time is 6pm. Your child needs picked up immediately. It is not a lifeguards responsibility to sit with a child for 2 hours in a storm waiting for a ride. The job of a lifeguard is to save a child if they are drowning and help enforce rules regarding safety. They are not babysitters. No one on my pool staff is. I hate that this even needs said, but please be respectful of my staff. Thank you.
