Update: it’s officially baby month!💕 Our newest little Whittaker was originally due in March, but she’s now set to arrive at the end of February.🎉😅🥰
I’m currently 35 weeks and was diagnosed with gestational hypertension, meaning my blood pressure is elevated and needs close monitoring to prevent preeclampsia. I’ve never had high blood pressure outside of pregnancy, and while the cause isn’t totally clear, it may be linked to my autoimmune disease (ulcerative colitis). Thankfully, my UC has stayed in remission, making this my healthiest pregnancy yet.🙏🏼
While the hypertension isn’t ideal, it’s manageable, and I’m so grateful to be this far along with no major complications. It just means baby girl will be making her debut a little earlier than expected.
We’re still waiting on the official c-section date, but she’ll definitely be here in the last couple weeks of February. What matters most is that she arrives healthy, safe, and sound.
I can’t believe she’ll be in our arms so soon!🥹💕
PS - I called it from day one that this baby would show up in February 😂 mama knows best 🤷🏼♀️
See you in a few weeks baby girl 👶🏼😍🫶🏼
