Get Ready for the Roux Ga Roux - April 22, 2017

Warrior run/obstacle course/kayak starting at Bogue Falaya Fitness, located at 319 E. Proceeds go to The Covington Rotary Club for The Miracle League Northshore, Lake Ponchartrain Basin Foundation and Keep Covington Beautiful. The running portion of the race will start at Bogue Falaya Fitness with a 2 mile run through the scenic streets of historic

downtown Covington and end at Bogue Falaya Park, where the obstacle course will then begin. The obstacle course will be set up with over 13 obstacles throughout Covington's beautiful Bogue Falaya Park. The last obstacle will be located at the southeast end of the park where participants will then have the choice to navigate the waterways of the Bogue Falaya River via kayak, canoe or paddle board. From there, participants will begin to row upstream for over half a mile to their final destination; the Chimes of Covington. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boards will be provided, please note on registration if you would like to provide your own. Pairs have the option of using a 2 person canoe.
